IoT DevOps Software Internship, Digital Business

We are looking for a curious Software Engineer intern hungry to learn by doing and develop into the field of IoT Cloud applications software development.

For 6 months, you will be part of a diverse team in a flat organization following Agile and DevOps methodologies aim to implement and deliver digital business applications across GF MS technologies. You will have the opportunity to be guided into and experience high-quality full stack software components development part of an agnostic deployment architecture.

JOB RESPONSABILITIES / ROLES

Responsible for the Development and Delivery of Software Full Stack Components

• Analyze stakeholder requirements and write technical specifications
• Contribute to all activities carried out along the iterations of an agile software development process ; Planning & Verification, Implementation, Code Quality, Code Review & Testing
• Troubleshooting and fixing the code bugs
• Refactoring and maintenance activities
• Ensure continuous integration

Responsible for applying Agile and DevOps practices

• Organize your work with your colleagues around a backlog, plan your tasks in sprints, and document your developments
• Build automated processes wherever possible
• Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Training : (subject + level)

• B.Sc. or equivalent education with a focus on informatics, system engineering, or computer science

Experience :

• Pursuit / fresh graduate of a Bachelor or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, software engineer, mathematics
• Knowledge and high interest on Microsoft technologies (C#, Azure)
• Passion for innovative technologies, distributed systems, cloud (Azure) and DevOps technologies (containers, Docker, IaC, etc.)
• Strong interest in software quality and sustainability
• Knowledge in network and infrastructure is a plus

Language: (+required level) :

• Good oral and written communication skills in English
• German and French language skills are an advantage
