StudyBud is a swiss-based ed-tech platform designed to bridge the gap between students and tailored, accessible, quality learning. 

In today's educational landscape, a striking 57% of students from top Swiss universities feel academically underserved. Students often lack access to the right educational approach, and the search for reliable tutors and resources is difficult and time-consuming. Furthermore, the uncertainty surrounding exams and the unawareness of specific university curricula by external teachers add to the stress. With more than one-third of European university students dropping out, there's a clear need for a more tailored learning approach and support.

StudyBud bridges this gap with a comprehensive online learning platform. By harnessing data on multiple variables, we match students with ideal tutors, familiar with their specific academic requirements. Further, our platform goes beyond tutor-student matching. It also serves as a comprehensive marketplace where students will access a wide range of personalized learning materials, all tailored to enhance their learning experience.

In the 9 months following our startup’s inception, we have seen strong growth, boasting 500+ users and over 800+ hours completed, with a revenue of more than CHF +40’000. 

The project is backed by several incubators, accelerators and innovation agencies, notably EHL Innovation Hub, InnoSuisse, Fondation FIT, Innobooster, Blockchain Nation, SUPSI and more.

Up until now StudyBud is mostly bootstrapped and for the majority sustained by the recurring revenues of our business, demostrating the strength of our model. We have secured a total of 45K in funding from institutions such as the Fondation pour L'Innovation Tecnologique and InnoSuisse.
