Coactum aims to revolutionize in-space cargo transportation by providing simple, secure and fast services using our standalone small satellites - simplifying access to high Earth orbits and beyond. By applying our proprietary propulsion technologies, we aim to radically increase the safety and reduce the cost of in-space transportation, allowing fast access to orbits which are otherwise ex- pensive to reach for any size of small satellites.
We envision a future when moving around in space becomes as common as doing it on Earth. This is a future where our space “taxies” are safe, agile, low-cost, and often thrilling – able to move cargo, and eventually people, to multiple outposts.
The main ongoing activity of our venture-backed project is the development of the delivery vehicle and propulsion system in our facilities in Switzerland – be- ing a demonstration mission the decisive milestone. To accelerate progress and increase the rate of innovation, Coactum is building a dependable and dynamic team with people that seek challenges.
With the perspective to grow in the long-term, the development done now will be the building block of the services Coactum will provide in the future - redefining how we move in space to make the extraordinary, possible.
In this context, Coactum is searching for a motivated system engineer to manage and maintain the computing infrastructure and also to lead the on-site technical support. On top of having the responsibility to ensure the highest levels of availability, performance and security of the Coactum’s systems this position involves dealing with all the issues that arise in the day-to-day work of the other engineers.
